This document is an agreement between Tollcross Dogs and the client (You) for the services of cat or dog sitting in Tollcross Dogs home.
Tollcross Dogs is located at Tollcross Park View, Glasgow, G32
Payments
- • A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking. The remainder of the fee is required before or on the first day of service.
- • Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer or online through Stripe.
Cancellation Policy
- • If in unfortunate circumstances, you need to cancel your booking, and it is prior to 14 days of the service date, you will receive a full refund. If it's less than 14 days to the service date you will lose the 50% deposit.
- • Your refund will be returned to you using the method in which you paid. Please note that Stripe takes 5–10 working days to process a refund.
Fire & Emergency Safety
- • In the event of a fire Tollcross Dogs has a fire and evacuation plan to exit the building, a fire extinguisher and a fire blanket.
- • All smoke detectors are tested on a weekly basis in the property, and all internal doors are closed over at night.
- • If the property has to be evacuated for a period of time, Tollcross Dogs will move with your pet(s) to a family members home that has been pre-agreed.
- • Tollcross Dogs has two emergency key holders within a 5min radius who can come and rescue your pet(s) in an emergency.
- • There is no risk that your pet(s) can bolt outside from the front door of the property, which opens into a landing space with a further three fire doors and two sets of stairs before leading outside.
- • All medications are safely stored out of reach of pet(s).
- • All cleaning materials used in the property are natural, pet friendly and not tested on animals.
Health / Sick / Injured Animals
- • You must ensure that your Pet is vaccinated, in good health, free from fleas and is adequately wormed. If Tollcross Dogs believes that your Pet is not in good health, we reserve the right to seek veterinary advice on your behalf, and you will be liable for the veterinary fees.
- • All efforts will be made to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We require owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted 3rd party should we be unable to make contact. However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your pet's health provided it is acting in the best interests of the pet and on the advice of a veterinary surgeon.
- • Tollcross Dogs is not a veterinary specialist. Tollcross Dogs can administer medication to your pet but is not liable if something goes wrong, or the pet has a reaction to the medication.
- • In the event of extreme weather or events which may have an adverse effect on the Client's Pet e.g. heat, thunderstorms or fireworks, Tollcross Dogs will take whatever action they consider necessary. This includes not carrying out scheduled exercise until it is, in their opinion, safe to do so.
Client's Obligations
- • The Client agrees that they're happy for their dog(s) or cat(s) to stay in Tollcross Dogs home and for them to be walked outside, including Tollcross Park.
- • The Client will be responsible for all costs (including but not limited to medical care, legal fees, etc.) resulting from an injury to another animal or any person, by the pet.
- • The Client shall provide sufficient food, cat litter, pet supplies and any treats for their Pet(s) for the duration of the Service.
Duty of Care
- • A change in a pet's routine and circumstances can cause varying degrees of distress and unpredictable or abnormal behaviour, particularly if their owner is on holiday. Tollcross Dogs understands this and will offer comfort and reassurance whilst trying, as far as is practically possible to maintain the Pet's normal daily routines.
- • While in the care of Tollcross Dogs, dogs will be tagged with the contact's name and the number of Tollcross Dogs. Your dog(s) may also be given a GPS tag to wear in case of escape or getting lost.
- • During Pet Sitting your pet may be left up to a maximum of 3 hours. The Client agrees that their pet(s) are okay with this length of time unless already agreed elsewhere.
- • Tollcross Dogs reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Client's pet poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, or other people.
- • Tollcross Dogs agrees to provide services stated in this agreement in a reliable, caring, and trustworthy manner.
The Client states that he/she has read this agreement in its entirety and fully understands and accepts its terms and conditions.
This agreement is valid from the date you agree to the terms and conditions on the booking form.
